Discussing the applied innovations and process improvements for the delivery of the Roads for the Community Federal Funding of $150 million over 10 years. Topics which will be discussed;

- Development of the team and using internal Environmental Assessment Officers, Stormwater Design Officers, and In-house arborists. Outcomes achieved were strong environmental knowledge, ensuring low impacts of road projects on the environment, ease of planning process and environmental management, fern transplantation, and installation of WUSD assets.

- Use innovative technologies and trails, such as 'Earthlok' concrete matting for erosion management, asphalt curbs, recycled concrete drainage pipes, gabion dissipator baskets, recycled crushed concrete, recycled glass products, foam-bitumin asphalt, and SPEL Tank systems.
